Expectations
- Students are enthusiastic and invested in their vocal growth; as such, they will be expected to arrive on time and prepared for lessons (sheet music, tracks, pencil, etc.) and make an effort to practice between sessions using provided resources.
- In the event that a student is experiencing cold or flu symptoms the day of a lesson, but are well enough to sing, they are expected to notify BVS and pivot to a virtual session.
Scheduling & Communication
- Drop In Students should use the booking platform Calendly for lesson scheduling.
- Communication should primarily be handled through email, except in cases of time sensitive information, emergency, etc.
Payment
- Payment for Drop In Lessons may be sent any time before the start of the lesson via Venmo or Zelle.
- Students holding a weekly appointment will be billed at the beginning of the 12 Week Program, unless a payment plan has been discussed and approved.
Cancellations
- Students have up to 48 hours before the scheduled lesson to cancel or reschedule without penalty. This allows the spot to be booked by other students on the waitlist.
- Students will be responsible for the full lesson fee in cases of last minute cancellations and no shows.
- Exceptions to this policy may be made at the discretion of BVS in cases of illness or emergency.
